as our Corporate Research & Development Chef. With a deep passion for Indian cuisine and a strong commitment to quality, Chef Chandra leads our efforts in crafting exceptional dishes tailored to modern dietary needs.
His Role: Chef Chandra spearheads the creation and refinement of Indian recipes with a focus

Chef Rajeev Chauhan is a highly skilled culinary professional with over 18 years of experience
specializing in Indian cuisine, particularly in Tandoor preparations. He has honed his craft
working with both national and international brands in prestigious hotels and fine dining
establishments. Rajeev’s expertise lies in creating a variety of kebabs, naans, kulchas, and
other Indian breads, along with the precise execution of tava and fried kebabs. His profound
knowledge of Indian cuisine, including recipe development, portion control, and presentation,
combined with his deep understanding of spices and ingredients, makes him a standout in his
field.
Rajeev’s career includes significant roles at renowned establishments such as Bombay
Brasserie by Taj Hotel Dubai, Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor in Dubai, and Ananda in the
Himalayas. His work has been recognized with numerous accolades, including participation in
high-profile food festivals, workshops, and events. Known for his dedication, punctuality, and
commitment to excellence, Chef Rajeev Chauhan continues to contribute to the culinary world
with his innovative approach and passion for Indian cuisine.
Chef Balkrishan
Balkrishan is a highly experienced Indian Curry Chef with over 15 years in the culinary industry,
specializing in traditional North Indian cuisine and Hyderabadi biryani. His expertise includes
preparing rich, flavorful curries like Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh, and Dum Ka Murgh, along with
a deep understanding of food safety. Having worked in renowned kitchens across India,
Bermuda, Canada, and the U.S., he brings international flair and precision to every dish.
Currently leading the kitchen at Saffron Group, Chef Balkrishan is known for his passion,
consistency, and commitment to delivering authentic Indian flavors with exceptional quality.
Narender Singh
Narender Singh is a seasoned Indian curry chef with over a decade of experience at top
establishments like Carnival Cruise Lines and Thomas United Co. Ltd. Renowned for his
mastery in traditional Indian flavors, he excels in dishes like Lamb Shahi Korma, Dum Nariyal
Prawn, and Rogan Josh. With a strong background in menu development, kitchen operations,
and culinary innovation, Narender brings passion, precision, and authenticity to every
plate—making him a valued member of the Saffron Group.
Firoz Khan
Chef Firoz Khan brings over 15 years of culinary excellence to Saffron Indian Cuisine, with deep
expertise in Hyderabadi, Awadhi, and traditional Indian biryanis. Trained under renowned
Master Chefs like Quresi and has honed his skills in top kitchens across India and abroad,
including Park Hyatt Goa, Radisson, The Lodhi Delhi, and Hozoon Restaurant in Saudi Arabia.
He is known for his precision, authentic flavors, and passion for preserving regional culinary
traditions. His specialties include Dum Biryani, Nihari, and slow-cooked Awadhi dishes, which
he prepares with attention to detail and deep respect for traditional techniques.
Chef Firoz is dedicated to delivering a rich and memorable dining experience through every dish
he creates at Saffron.
Deewan Singh
With over 9 years of experience in luxury hotels and fine dining, Chef Deewan Singh is a master
of Tandoor. From hosting national celebrities like Asha Bhosle, MS Dhoni, and Salman Khan, to
working in top hospitality brands like JW Marriott, The Leela Palace and Radisson Blu, his
culinary journey reflects skill, creativity, and dedication.
Currently bringing his expertise to Saffron Indian Cuisine, Chef Deewan continues to push
boundaries while honoring authentic Indian flavors, ensuring every dish is a memorable
experience.
Mohit Gautam
Chef Mohit Gautam is a highly skilled culinary professional with over a decade of experience in
luxury hotels and fine dining establishments across India, Goa, and Bhutan. Specializing in
fusion Indian desserts, he expertly blends traditional flavors with modern techniques—creating
visually stunning and flavorful treats that appeal to both Indian and international palates.
Trained in bakery, confectionery, and global cuisines, Mohit has led pastry teams, curated
dessert menus, and introduced innovative sweet offerings in 5-star hotels like Le Méridien
Thimphu, The LaLiT Goa, and The Lodhi Delhi. His passion for creativity, deep understanding of
flavor balance, and hands-on leadership make him an ideal fit for Saffron Group’s progressive
